I may work with my hands, but I lead with my conscience.
The Philosophy
When you’re sitting across the table from a surgeon, it’s more than a case — it’s trust.
I’m Dr. Davinder Singh, an experienced General Surgeon in India, now based in Punjab, specialising in gastrointestinal and laparoscopic procedures, but more importantly, someone who sees the human being behind every diagnosis.
I follow globally accepted surgical protocols, including those outlined by the World Health Organisation.
With over 15 years as an experienced General Surgeon in India, I’ve performed more than 3500 surgeries across some of the busiest hospitals in the country. And after all that, I’ve come to believe that good surgery isn’t just about skill inside the OT. It’s about patience, precision, honesty, and the ability to listen. Whether I’m performing a laparoscopic gallbladder removal or handling a complex emergency case, my focus stays on one thing: doing the right thing for the person in front of me.

What I Believe In
There’s a lot of pressure when someone chooses you to be their surgeon. You’re not just expected to perform a procedure — you’re expected to guide them through fear, uncertainty, and hope. And I am a member of the Indian Medical Association, which keeps me connected to the latest research and best practices. That’s why I focus on these core principles in my work:
- Clarity over confusion
- Trust is everything
- Precision through discipline
- Follow-up is as important as surgery
Where I Come From
I was born and raised in Gurdaspur, Punjab — a place that taught me early on that respect is earned, not demanded. After completing my MBBS from the Government, Kilpauk Medical College in Chennai, I spent years building experience across some of India’s busiest hospitals — from Delhi to Gurgaon.
My journey as an experienced General Surgeon in India has been shaped by service in the Navy, high-pressure hospital roles, and my current work in Punjab.
My time in the Indian Navy shaped me the most. I served as a Medical Officer and retired as a Surgeon Lieutenant Commander after five years, managing cases in high-pressure environments where clarity, teamwork, and discipline were essential. That chapter gave me more than surgical experience — it gave me perspective.
A note
I didn’t become a surgeon overnight. I’ve been trained, tested, trusted, and shaped by institutions that hold people’s lives in their hands every day. And after everything I’ve learned, I still believe the most powerful tool in medicine is this:
To listen.
If you or someone you love needs surgery, I’ll be here — ready to listen, explain, and treat you like I would my own family.
